About NuWave Precision Induction Cooktop – As Seen on TV

The Nuwave Precision Induction Cooktop is a revolutionary portable, high power output precision induction cooktop, which allows you to cook tasty, healthy meals virtually anywhere. Because of its’ lightweight and portability, NuWave PIC is a great idea for camping and road trips. Made to heat only pans or pots that you place on the cooktop. The highlight of NuWave is that it uses 85% less energy than regular stovetop that most folks have in their kitchen, but can heat and cook your meal 50% faster. Electric or gas, both are inefficient ways to heat a metal pan because they attempt to transfer the heat, and much of it gets wasted in the process. It can boil water in 90 seconds.

Positive Experiences

  • It’s a great looking induction cooktop with superb built quality. The plastic is stiff, buttons are firm, easy operating and the glass top is beautiful.
  • Can cook anything anytime! Not worrying about Fire because there aren’t any flames. Plus, you know exact temperature for your food. Great for those who follow specific instructions on Recipes. Keep your food warm with no burning.
  • When I am making my herbal tinctures, it makes control of temp really easy. I can use a pot instead of a roaster to control the temp. I can set it to cook at whatever temp I need for any amount of time I want.

Negative Experiences

  • This product does not work like advertised. They said it heats water in 90 That must be for 1/2 cup water. I had to boil water for pasta and I set it high 425 degrees. It took 45 minutes to boil. I could of boiled on my electric stove much quicker than that but I was waiting for one to be installed. I was very disappointed because I had company and they were shocked also that it took so long. I did use the right pan and size. I would not recommend this product to anyone.
  • I received the product not knowing my cookware would not work. Bought additional cookware and temperature settings did not work properly. Absolutely the worse product I have ever purchased. Will never buy another NuWave product. If you return it you have to pay shipping both ways so it is not worth returning.
