About Miracle Grill Mat – As Seen on TV

The Miracle Grill Mat was invented to play role of a flame cover mat or a flame retardant that is suppose to be laid on top of any grill in order to cook a variety of smaller or thinner items without burning or making them charred and fall through the grate into the flames. Miracle Grill Mat is a black non-stick PTFE-coated glass fabric sheet you place on top of your barbecue grill. Many common non-stick pans and other cooking surfaces have one thing in common: “PFOA” is a non-healthy ingredient witch is not found in the Miracle Grill Mat. It helps to reduce flare ups from grease hitting the fire, and you can also cut the mat to fit your grill. Advertised as; easy to store and fits most grills by just cutting the Miracle Grill Mat to the size that will for your grill. Can be used indoor/outdoor, camping, picnics, take it with you to the games. It’s surface is supposedly great for grilling virtually anything like; fish, kabobs, vegetables, meats, bread, seafood, pizza, sausages, and many more. So if you love to grill then you should be excited.

For Basically $20 we think it’s a great addition to your BBQ set, especially for camping because it’s mess-free, rolls up neatly and is lightweight. Positive Experiences

  • I must say, when I opened the pack, I thought the mats looked very flimsy but I followed the directions exactly and cooked some lovely bone in chicken breasts which browned beautifully and were very moist. I usually cook my chicken on the cold side of the grill and the mat worked better for me. Will try vegetables the next time. Found that even with the grills on medium and the thermometer on the grill registering 350 degrees the chicken cooked more speedily than if I had done it in the oven so you do need to watch the food. The mat washed off very well and did not seem to suffer any ill effects from being on a hot grill.
  • Finally, a product “As Seen On TV,” that really lives up to expectations and does exactly what they claim it can do. I’m amazed. I don’t know what these are made out of that they don’t melt, but they really do work. I’ve done seafood, steaks, kabobs, bacon and all sorts of stuff. Nothing sticks and it tastes great.
  • Foods cook to a great taste because it sits in its own juices. Easy to use and clean. I have used grill mat 4 times and have had no problems.

Negative Experiences

  • I bought this grill mat because the video made it look like a great item. However I was extremely disappointed because It is not nonstick. I used it over charcoal and it burned the food and could not remove the crust burned on the mat. Not able to use again because it will not come clean. Absolutely nothing as advertised.
  • I bought this item and I hated it from the first time I used. I got it for my portable gas grill. I don’t like having to clean up my grill after each camping trip and thought that this was going to keep my gill clean; not at all. All it does is it prevents the cooking grates from getting dirty but it causes the food to splatter everywhere. It made my grill all greasy. It pretty much turned my grill into a stove, and when I was Barbequing chicken, it felt like I was frying chicken.
It does change the taste of your food- it will not taste like BBQ anymore. Don’t waste your money on this.
