Positive Experiences

  • Bought this for our band leader and host (keeps all our equipment in his basement.) First of all, arrived without damage of any kind (noted change in shipping as mentioned). It looks very much like a slightly smaller Marshall half stack. He was delighted. Runs fine, keeps water and beer cold. Deducted 1 star because the switch on the front doesn’t light up – would be a useless but nice touch.
    Highly recommended.
  • I love it. I have this in my entertainment center/ guitar room with several amps and guitars around the walls. It mostly holds beers and sodas for watching movies or having people over to jam. It is just so cool that it looks just like an amp. I only wish they could have had the power switch light up when you flick it or somehow made a cheap speaker in the door that you could plug in and make some sort of noise from with your guitar. That would “push it to 11″
  • Alright every thinks these are cool and they are, you’ll get lots of compliments. It works as a refrigerator. Seems to run a lot, but not sure that means anything. Biggest complaints, Marshall logos weren’t attached correctly or straight. I had to break off the pieces that hold it on and glue the logo on for it to work. Which can result in a mess or damage to the grill cloth. bracket that door sits on what majorly bent, appeared from the factory as a add hoc adjustment, not from shipping damage. This caused door not to seal properly, still not perfect after trying to bend it back. Just problems that shouldn’t come on a pretty expensive novelty fridge. Be prepared to do a few fixes on your end if your not lucky like me, otherwise its pretty cool.

Negative Experiences

  • I just bought my family the Marshall stack fridge. It looks like a million bucks, although it is a bit smaller than expected. However, it doesn’t work very well – i have it “cranked up to 11″ but the freezer part is barely cold enough to make ice, and i just threw away 3 containers of Ben & Jerry’s “soup” Perfectly fine for keeping drinks cool, but not very good for dorm room use, or any use where the freezer is important. Plan to return it.
  • ALmost purchased it online but was fortunate to see it first. It certainly gets 5 stars for “coolness,” but, not a practical appliance. I personally think it missed it’s mark by having a small (useless) freezer area and not being strictly a beverage fridge. It is also smaller than I expected, especially for the price. Unless you must have that stealth-fridge Marshall-stack look, you’re better off with a cool glass front, beverage fridge which holds more and is less expensive.
  • I shipped this item back. It’s awful to receive damaged property.
