I am very involved with Scouting and love to camp. I recently had to start using a CPAP machine (Resmed 9S). I was not sure what to do and thought I would be limited on my camping and summer camp attendance. I purchased the Yeti 400 with hopes it would give me the ability to continue camping. What a wonderful relief!!! I am able to get three nights (full 8 hours) of power for my CPAP machine. For maximum use, I did need to turn off the humidifying portion, however, for my needs, it was okay. This thing is awesome with Light a Life lanterns!!!
I bought the Yeti400 with the thought of powering the C-pap machine when we go camping. When it arrived we gave it the at-home acid test, and it met our expectations. We can’t wait for winter to end so we can hit the road and give the field acid test.
Last year my wife and I purchased the Yeti 400 so we would be more prepared in case we needed power in an emergency, whether it be at home or away. We choose the Yeti 400 because it has the capacity to power my amateur radio to provide communications if needed but yet still small enough the one person can move it around with ease. We have not had the need to us it in an emergency situation yet but I have been using in to power my radio in the house and have found it is performing as I expected.
First Yeti 400 grabbed hearth at some point ahead of the cutoff regarding returns. GoalZero instantly routed me a whole new 1 at no cost and in addition they have been comfortable. Received the second one and it would not charge. I took it off the cart to send it back and it started working. 40 days later I get home to an awful electrical smell. The Yeti won’t power on and there is a terrible smell coming from it.
Wasted HUNDREDS of dollars on this that I can’t afford. It was an old design ordered within 2011. After the warranty time period has been in excess of, the unit warmed up in place horribly and burned to touch. My house might have burned down! Nevertheless did not operate. Now it doesn’t even charge up.
It absolutely was entirely dead and it wouldn’t take a charge. Contacted the maker in addition to bought absolutely no help, it seems they may be efficient at offering their particular solution but after you purchase it you’re on the picked up.
